We sell tiaras and fascinators to a variety of people with a range of ages and events. But as the summer wedding season is approaching many women will wonder whether a fascinator is for them.
So what are the pros and cons? Well on the plus side a fascinator regardless of size or colour will change the look of an outfit and update an existing outfit. If you bought the perfect dress for a wedding (as I have done, and have no other occasion to wear said dress) then a hair accessory may be just the thing to give that dress a new lease of life and save you money, as a fascinator can be a lot less expensive than a formal dress.
Also it makes you feel good - honest. I've worn fascinators to events and had a certain level of confidence doing so, I knew this delicate, vintage looking hairband was the perfect accessory to my 'Marilyn Monroe' style white dress - and it felt good, I held my head high and happily accepted the compliments that I was given.
Plus if you buy a fascinator or hair accessory from a site such as Eliza Anne Tiaras then you know no one else will have the same item. Come on girls, we all know that feeling when we bump into someone who is wearing exactly the same dress, well if a fascinator is handcrafted then it is unique, one of a kind, an original!!
So (I guess I have to include them) here are the cons...
Some fascinators can be OTT, I admit I don't have the confidence to wear some flamboyant hair accessories, think very big and very bright. Its just not me, I love those exquisite hair accessories that accent an outfit, with a bit of sparkle and a certain elegance, but thats just me. Some people look amazing in all hair accessories, regardless of colour and size. I guess that one of the reasons that we create simple yet elegant accessories using good quality materials, as these are the kind of items that we would wear.
And the last downside - well you might get fed up and telling everyone where you bought your fabulous fascinator from!!
